MARCH
Tasting the life of an artist. Integrating into the community. The introduction of COVID-19.

The neighborhood tortoises were unfortunately not living in good conditions. With the support and combined effort of the Anse Forbans community, we were able to create a better home for them. They now live under the shade of mango and golden apple trees, and are fed/watered regularly.
I found this hawksbill turtle at anse marie louise tangled up in plastic attached to a heavy rope on an evening snorkel swim with mcss friends in March 2020. We worked together to cut off the plastic and free the turtle unharmed. This is one reason why plastic waste is a problem, especially in the oceans.
